The reference event for sports in Africa

The first edition of the Sport Impact Summit in Dakar

Dakar will host the very first edition of the Sport Impact Summit, a reference event at the core of the sport industry in Africa, which will also include the Sport Impact Awards 2023 ceremony.

One year after the first edition of the inspiring Sport Impact Awards, Sport Impact is thinking big and helding the Sport Impact Summit, a federative event that will bring together several personalities and international decision-makers to address in a very concrete way issues at the core of sport development and development through sport in Africa.

This key event will be held in Dakar in a new three-day format from November 5 to 7, 2023. Several key sequences are expected:

  • Conferences, round tables and conversations involving personalities and leaders of the sector
  • Announcements / launch of new programs
  • Visits to sports facilities in Dakar and Diamniadio
  • Workshops and sports challenges involving young people and high-level athletes

The event will also host the second edition of the Sport Impact Awards which will reward the commitment of a new class of laureates for a replica of the best sport projects on the continent.

Nearly 500 participants including several distinguished guests are expected: sports ministers and delegations from several African and Western countries, presidents and representatives of sports organizations, representatives of donors and investors, leaders of the private sector, civil society and high-level athletes (Sport Impact Leaders).
